Electrical Integration Engineer
Global Finishing Solutions, a leading manufacturer of paint finishing systems, has an outstanding career opportunity for an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Engineering Technician in its expanding systems integration group located in Osseo, WI. This position will provide an opportunity to deliver complete state-of-the-art finishing systems and controls solutions to major industrial, aerospace, and/or automotive customers throughout the United States and Mexico. Systems involve all facets of paint finishing including pre-treatment, spray booths, general sheet metal, paint robots (ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Motoman), PLC controls, paint circulating systems, conveyors, ovens, and alternative curing equipment.
The electrical engineer or engineering technician will be technically competent with ground-up industrial control system design involving P&ID schematics, control panel design, AB and Siemens PLC’s, AB PanelView, VFDs, hardwired control logic, PID controllers, and burner combustion controls. Startup/debug skills, ACAD design, and PLC programming experience is required.

Project Manager
Our clients depend on us to design, manufacture, install and maintain high-quality, custom paint finishing systems. The Projects Team at GFS is responsible for
managing these jobs and is currently looking to grow our staff.
As a project manager for GFS, the candidate will lead and engage internal and external team members toward the successful execution and completion of the project. The candidate will create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements. This person will lead a project team by managing all aspects of assigned projects, including:
Project Design
• Coordinating with GFS Sales Associate/Customer/GFS Engineering to create a project that will meet customer specifications, safety and code requirements
• Participation in customer and owner coordination meetings
• Participate in Mechanical and Controls systems selection and procurement
Project Development
• Serves as Project Liaison to our client
• Organize project meetings with internal/external team members
• Develops and Maintains Project Schedule
• Manages project budget
• Monitors project progress and percent of completion
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Prepare RFQ and Coordinate Sub-contracted work
Commercial Review
• Work with GFS Sales Associates to develop project scope of work
• Engage in Contract review and negotiations
• Manages project budget
• Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
• Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization
This candidate will work day to day with customers, general contractors, architects/engineering firms and other business units within GFS to complete work
tasks. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar Field and 5-7 years’ experience or equivalent experience and competence is necessary. Must be proficient inMicrosoft office products. The ability to travel 50-75% is required.

Field Technician
Responds to the needs of GFS customers by performing numerous duties pertaining to installation, startup/training, service calls, maintenance and repair of items sold by GFS for the paint finishing industry by performing the following duties:

-Working from blueprints, drawings, schematics, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the mechanical or electrical systems on the equipment.

-Provide the customer classroom and hands on training in the operation and maintenance of the GFS equipment. This includes communication with the customer to help them understand how to use the equipment properly or to resolve problems related to the mechanical operation, controls, electrical, air replacement systems, and other mechanical or electrical related problems

-Installing, testing, or repairing mechanical and electrical GFS equipment consisting of motors, transformers, lights, controllers, circuit breakers, heating/cooling units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment according to specified safety requirements.
Electrical/Mechanical trade-schooling, three to five years electrical experience; or equivalent combination of both education and experience. Required to travel to the customer’s site frequently. The job will require domestic and international travel, overtime, working weekends, and may require extended long stays on the jobsite to complete the job.

1st/2nd/3rd Shift Experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator and Assemblers
Global Finishing Solutions is looking for experienced sheet metal fabricators and/or Assemblers to join our production team. Ideal candidates for these positions should have a basic understanding of assembly and/or turret, press brake, and shear operations. In addition, candidates should have extensive knowledge of blue print interpretation, bend allowances, and metal forming conformances. Basic forklift operation, preventative maintenance, and positive attitude are also a plus.
- -Accurately read and understand a tape measure to the 1/32 of an inch.
- -Plans and develops product/part layout as outlined on blueprints.
- -Calculation of bend allowance and adjustment for varying material thickness.
- -Verify that the blueprint and shear list information is accurate and correct.
- -Operate all aspects of turret punch and/or press brake including tool setups and calibration (Sheet Metal Fabricator).
- -Operate all aspects of shear including preventative maintenance and calibration (Sheet Metal Fabricator).
- -Attribute to continuous improvement environment.
- -Other duties may be assigned.
High school education or GED; 4-5 years of related manufacturing experience in steel fabrication and/or assembly or a combination of education and experience.

Drafting/Designer
This position translates the ideas, rough sketches, and specifications of the customer/sales personnel into working plans which are used in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of company products by performing the following duties:
• Using the C.A.D software, must be able to design and create concept, assembly, and detail drawings which illustrate the product design.
• Creates shear lists and bill of materials calling out quantities, sizes, and dimensions of materials used in the fabrication process.
• Create accurate load lists so the shipping department can ship all components for each job.
• Prepares and transmits submittal drawing packages, including cut sheets, to customers.
• Provide support during the installation process for on-site crews, as well as providing support for other departments as needed.
• Provide quality control checks on blueprints and work orders.
Two year certificate from college or technical school in drafting/design or the equivalent; three to five years related experience and/or training in design drafting; or equivalent combination of education and experience in. Past experience with Inventor and Solid Edge is preferred.

Program Analyst
Reviews, analyzes and modifies programs based upon company needs and direction. Provides program/software support for diverse users. Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. Maintains the ERP system, including user support, database maintenance, running utility programs and report writing. Applicant should have a minimum of a four year degree in Programming/Information Science or equivalent. Required skills: Report writing, SQL, Programming experience using a high-level programming language.
Desired skills: Oracle, PL/SQL, .NET, Excel/VBA.
