GFS News June 11, 2008 GFS Awarded Contract with Lockheed-Martin Lockheed-Martin Aerospace was awarded the largest ever military contract to product the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35 Lightning II). They built a modern new plant at Fort Worth, Texas to assemble the fighters. GFS was awarded a contract to produce eight (8) paint booths for their production line. The paint booths were manufactured at the Osseo, Wisconsin facility of GFS. Lockheed will produce over 100 aircrafts a year at this facility and they will be used by at least nine of our allies in other countries. Parts for the aircraft assembly are fabricated at many countries across the world making this a truly “Global” project for Lockheed-Martin and Global Finishing Solutions. A major expansion to our Osseo, WI manufacturing facility and upgrading our Engineering capabilities are two of the many projects underway for GFS in 2007. The new expanded building in Osseo will provide increased manufacturing capability for our Electrical and Control System Engineering departments. Upgrading the Engineering software systems will allow for simpler integration of designs and concepts and easier transition of technology from one product to another. Through these efforts, GFS maintains it's position as the provider of the most technologically advanced finishing equipment in the world November 14, 2006 NACE 2006 is a resounding success! GFS experienced an amazingly successful show at NACE 2006 in Las Vegas in early November. With excellent representation from our extensive Distribution Network, GFS had an unequaled presence at the show and provided in-depth information about our broad range of products and services. One feature GFS introduced into the NACE show for 2006 was two Live Demo sessions on the show floor illustrating the benefits of GFS' exclusive AdvanceCure Accelerated Airflow System.
