GFS’ Continuous Burn-Off Oven is designed for high-volume rack and hook stripping. Racks and hooks travel through a refractory-lined heated chamber, where air temperatures of 1000°F to 1200°F ignite the paint, turning it to ash. From there, the hooks and racks enter a Continuous Burn-Off Washer, where water rinses the ash off and cools them.
The following features are standard on GFS Continuous Burn-Off Ovens:
GFS manufactures our oven panels to ensure quality. Each oven panel is constructed of 20-gauge aluminized steel, with 4 inches of 6-pound mineral wool batt for heat retention.
GFS Continuous Burn-Off Ovens can be equipped for natural gas or propane.
GFS Continuous Burn-Off Ovens have a standard temperature range of 1000°F to 1200°F. Consult GFS for other temperature settings.
Burners are provided with FM standard gas valve train, flame safety and safety circuit. Safeties include gas pressure switch, gas valves, hi-temp limit switch and purge timer.
GFS’ Continuous Burn-Off Oven comes standard with the INSIGHT control panel. This PLC-based control system continuously monitors all systems for safety and function. The simplistic setup and operating screens, along with built-in help screens, provide the operator with the current status of the oven. The remote operator station comes standard with a pre-wired cable assembly for fast, easy wiring between the operator and the control panel.
GFS continuous burn-off ovens include a blower and TEFC motor, and belt-drive exhaust fan with TEFC motor.
GFS ovens can be customized to meet your unique specifications. The following options can be added to a continuous burn-off oven:
GFS guarantees that our products meet or exceed all of the applicable codes related to the equipment. Our engineers regularly follow and contribute to the advancement of codes and standards that affect the industries that we work in. One of our engineers currently serves on the NFPA Technical Committee on Finishing Processes, a key standard in the finishing industry.
GFS Continuous Burn-Off Ovens are built specifically to meet the standards of NFPA 86. The gas manifold assembled by GFS features valving that meets F.M. insurance requirements.
Speed, efficiency and cost savings make the GFS’ Continuous Burn-Off Oven the smart choice for high-volume rack stripping applications. In as little as four to six minutes, the burn-off oven removes paint from racks and hooks. The key to this oven’s remarkable performance is high velocity manifolds and Rapid Heat Transfer (RTH) technology.;
